Good points : staff were friendly, very helpful and there was always someone on duty who spoke English so that was a real bonus. Not too far to walk to nearest Metro station so made it easier to visit the sights & facilities of Porto. Breakfast was very good; bacon, eggs, fruit, croissants, pastries, all the usual continental breakfast foods but for me better cooked and presented than many of the hotels I’ve stayed in. Bad points : there was only a small area behind reception if you wanted to sit and chat with your friends. Room sizes varied, I met up with two friends and their double room was much smaller than the double room I had. The facilities in the rooms were not necessarily the same, my room had an extra armchair and the double bed was two large singles together. I paid over €200 for two nights and thought this was a little excessive but I only booked a few days before staying there so beware making a late booking the prices can change dramatically.

The staff was incredibly helpful, and the accommodation was exactly what I needed. The room was clean, with a nice shower and bathroom. It was quiet, and the room size was perfect. The breakfast was enjoyable and delicious 😋, and the location is conveniently close to everything. I couldn't have found a better place to work in Porto for a day. The private parking was a major priority for me, and this place truly delivered on that. Overall, it was an excellent stay."

However, some areas might benefit from a touch-up, and noise levels could be lower. Overall, TRYP Centro Porto provides a pleasant stay with its combination of comfort, convenience, and delectable breakfast offerings.

Everything was good, clean big room, helpful staff, decent breakfast. No noise from street (and there was some construction work)

I had an exceptional stay at the hotel, largely due to the outstanding service. The staff showcased organised couriering my forgotten jacket back to me after my departure. The tranquility of the rooms provided a much-needed respite after a busy day, while the delightful breakfast, featuring the delicious Pasteis de Natas, was the cherry on top of a memorable visit.

The location is central.The room I ended up with was lovely, it had a balcony, the bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the bath as well. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast was also good, if a little basic.

Our experience really amazing because of the people that work there, specifically at the desk. Always helpful, kind, simply amazing. They were super kind to our little dog and even gave her a kit for her stay, a truly Pet friendly. I’m already planning to go back to this hotel. If you are the manager of this place and are reading this, please get these people working at the desk a salary raise!

Location is good, transport is relatively easy. Rooms we got was superb in terms of size with an extra balcony beeing on the top floor.

The room was comfortable and the price was valuable. The room was clean. The location is okay and around 7-10 mins from the main street of Porto. The breakfast was fair enough.
